POLISHED CONCRETE

True polished concrete is the process of grinding the slab to the desired depth with progressively finer diamond tools, grouting to fill holes and imperfections, applying a densifying chemical which hardens the floor up to 10 times, then polishing with progressively finer diamond pads to the desired gloss level. This is followed up by applying a penetrating which leaves no topical coating with excess sealer residue buffed off.

For new buildings we prefer to grind the slab before any construction starts therefore we can grind the slab as flat and even throughout resulting in a better finish in the long run also saving you money as the grinding can be done quicker with no walls to negotiate.
